CONCORD, N.C. – The World Karting Association is proud to be associated with this weekend’s 21st Annual Thanksgiving Thunder Speedway Dirt karting event at the Georgia Karting Komplex in Carnesville, Ga., where an unprecedented record of 1,202 pre-entries have been filed for the biggest annual Speedway Dirt karting event in the United States.
WKA’s Track Benefits program will be insuring and sanctioning this week’s Thanksgiving Thunder, where over $125,000 in prize money will be awarded over the three-day event.
CONCORD, N.C. – This is the last week to pre-enter for this December 27-30 Road Race Championships at Daytona International Speedway at the first-level entry pricing.

The early-level pre-entry pricing will run through the end of the week. Beginning Monday, December 1, any pre-entries received will be charged as second-level pricing ($15 more per class and Sunday practice).

CONCORD, N.C. – Rick Dresang submitted his official resignation as World Karting Association president on Friday, November 14.
Included with Dresang’s resignation was the resignation of former WKA Chief Operating Officer Van Gilder.
CONCORD, N.C. – WKA is proud to announce the year-end awards banquet for the Manufacturers Cup and National Road Racing series will make a return to Daytona Beach, Florida, this December 27 at the Daytona Beach Resort in downtown Daytona Beach.
The Man. Cup / Road Racing banquet will be held Saturday night of Daytona KartWeek with doors opening at 7:00pm, dinner served at 7:30 and the awards presentations beginning at 7:45.
