miller welders logoCONCORD, N.C. – You may have noticed a new WorldKarting.com banner advertisement and WKA’s Pit Board graphics this week.

The new art promotes Miller Welders, the latest major company to partner with the World Karting Association.

Miller Welders, headquartered in Appleton, Wis., manufactures arc welding and cutting equipment designed for manufacturing, fabrication, construction, aviation, motorsports, education, agriculture and marine applications.

Miller Welders has jumped in with WKA and is wasting no time giving back to WKA racers who support the organization.

In addition to giving welding equipment product to this weekend’s 2013 WKA Gold Cup awards ceremony in Jacksonville, Fla., one Miller Welder will be awarded to a winner at this weekend’s Gold Cup year-end awards ceremony and one welder to both the Manufacturers Cup and Road Racing series 2013 awards ceremonies next month at Carolina Motorsports Park.

For 2014, Miller Welders will be promoted as a class sponsor in Gold Cup, Road Racing and Manufacturers Cup, as well as the 2014 Daytona Dirt World Championships.

Miller Welders has posted four new Miller welders – one for each series and the fourth for the Daytona Dirt event – to be awarded to one WKA national champion from each series.

With only 11 points classes in Gold Cup and Manufacturers Cup, national champs from each of these series will earn a one in 11 chance to win the new welder. Road Racing has approximately 35 points classes, meaning the Road Racing national champions will have about a one in 35 chance to win the new welder.

Odds will increase for national champions as Miller Welders and WKA have agreed that the champion must be present at the 2014 year-end awards ceremony in order to win the welder.

An award for the Miller Welders for 2014 Daytona Dirt is To Be Determined.

WKA wishes to extend its gratitude to Miller Welders for the new partnership and support of national-level kart racing in America. WKA asks our racers, members and partners to support the companies that support kart racing!
