2012 pavement series 4cCONCORD, N.C. – The WKA office has received some calls lately regarding the tire rules for the August 10-12 Chapel Hill Grand Nationals at Chapel Hill Raceway in southwest New York.

As stated on the WorldKarting.com Vega Speedway Pavement Class Rules page, tires to be utilized for the Grand Nationals will be those that are utilized at the respective WKA-recognized divisional track; i.e.; you may run under your divisional track’s tire rules at the Grand Nationals.

Recognized 2012 Speedway Pavement divisional tracks are Chapel Hill, King George (Va.) Speedway, Sandy Hook (Md.) Speedway, Riverhead (N.Y.) Raceway, Oakland Valley (N.Y.) Race Park and Poughkeepsie (N.Y.) Raceway.

Pre-registration prices are $70 per class and $35 for Friday practice through this weekend. Second tier prices, which run from July 2 to July 27, are $80 per class and $40 for Friday practice.

Competitors may also reserve a number for the event for just $10 per class.
