WKA Honors Heartland Champions
02.19.2008 - The WKA Heartland year-end awards banquet will be held February 23, 2008 at the Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa. This banquet will encompass both the Bully Clutches Heartland Speedway Dirt Series as well as the Heartland Speedway Pavement Series.

WKA President Rick Dresang, former WKA Vice President Kenny Venberg, WKA District 1 Trustee Jim Savoren, WKA Director of Finance Sissy Mendenhall, WKA Heartland Tech Official Steve Vermeer and Jamaica Raceway owner and WKA Series Official Randy Perkins will be on hand to recognize the class winners. Along with recognition of the 2007 class champions there will be numerous special awards to honor various competitors as well as honoring a 2007 season Triple Crown Champions Justin Fickel and Jake Blackhurst.

Banquet doors to Iowa Speedway’s Newton Club will open at 6:30pm with dinner being served at 7:00pm. The awards ceremony will commence at 8:00pm. Limited tickets for the dinner will be available at the door for $30 per person.
