Five lucky racers receive terrific prizes at
Dexter Speedway Dirt Grand Nationals

07.02.2009 – Briggs & Stratton has “stepped up to the plate” with generosity and support numerous times over the years at WKA events. The 2009 season certainly is no different, and it showed once again last weekend at the Jimmy Rivers Performance Works Grand Nationals for the Briggs & Stratton Speedway Dirt Series at Dexter (Ga.) Raceway.

Along with their support of Saturday night’s Animal Heavy Money Race, Briggs also made five dirt racers extremely happy ones before the weekend’s racing had even begun. At Saturday morning’s drivers meeting, four 2500-psi Brute by Briggs & Stratton pressure washers were randomly drawn and awarded to Hunter Crone, Tanner S. Gray, Jason Kitzmiller and Alex Reece.

At that same drivers meeting, a Briggs 5550-watt, 10-horsepower portable generator was also drawn for, with the lucky winner being Stevie Stephenson, who also had a terrific weekend on the track with a feature win and a fine third-place finish to winner Chris Thompson and second-place Dustin McGraw in the Animal Heavy Money Race.

It’s the fine sponsors and supporters such as Briggs & Stratton, and many others, who make the Speedway Dirt Series, and WKA’s other four national touring series, possible.
