An eight- or nine-race national tour. The Road Racing Series (formally Enduro Series) is completely different from the other four WKA series. Events are held at some of America’s finest road racing facilities, including Daytona International Speedway, the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, VIRginia International Raceway and Road America. The karts race the same courses on which racecars compete, generally ranging between 2 and 4.5 miles in length. Past and current NASCAR stars Tony Stewart, Jamie McMurray and Ricky Rudd once competed in this series. After retiring from NASCAR®, Lake Speed returned to the road racing circuit and won a Spec TaG national championship in 2008. Click here for more in depth coverage of the Road Racing Series.
